2019 Fall Beach Volleyball Tournament
Enjoy great fall beach volleyball in this pre-season competition hosted by Spring Hill College. Major schools scheduled to participate include Florida State, LSU, Georgia State, Spring Hill, Stetson, Tulane, Houston Baptist, and Mercer. Come out and watch great some great competition.

The Hangout Oyster Cook-Off, Craft Spirits & Beer Weekend Friday and Saturday November 1-2.
This ticketed event showcases the talents and tastes of the best chefs from the Southeast. It’s an over-the-top afternoon of oysters and spirits on the beach in Gulf Shores. The event is ready to serve 100,000 Oysters in a single day to visitors from all over the country. Enjoy unique oyster dishes from dozens of restaurants who will be serving Rockefeller, Gulf Coast Cajun and Raw Oysters. There will be cooking demonstrations, craft beers and other adult beverages. Family Friendly Fun in the Park. THE PARK AFTER DARK.
Part of the Fall Festival, plan to visit The Park at OWA for a variety of kid-friendly events and activities. Saturdays and Sundays through November 3, you can create some family memories with a variety of kid-friendly events and activities. From pumpkin painting contests to arts and crafts projects to trick-or-treating activities, The Park After Dark is the perfect Halloween fun for your family. Kids activities from 5pm-7pm.

Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival
Featuring more than 200 nationally acclaimed songwriters, the 35th annual Frank Brown International Songwriters’ Festival runs November 7-17. Staged at venues along the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast, it is an opportunity for seasoned and aspiring songwriters and musicians from all over the world to have their songs heard. It’s a unique chance for the public to learn the stories behind the lyrics from the mind of the song’s author. The 11 day festival is slated in over two dozen venues from Downtown Pensacola and Perdido Key, Florida, into Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Bon Secour and Silverhill, Alabama.
