There is a well-worn mantra in the world of motivation and achievement: “Plan Your Work. Work Your Plan.” Certainly, it is great piece of actionable advice. We think it is equally important to plan your play.
Early in January as a thumbed through one of the “Smart Finance” magazines, there was a section on planning for the year. Surprisingly, one of the action items for February was to look ahead the the summer and solidify plans for summer vacation. What a great example of “planning your play”!
The same holds true for spring break 2020. You have to plan your fun – and, there are still plenty of great property ideas available. The Gulf Shores and Ft. Morgan areas are relatively close to many midwest locales. With the average spring break temperatures here in the low to mid 70’s, it’s a welcome relief for many travelers weary from the northern wind and cold.
Spring Break 2020 – Choice Beach Spots
If relaxing on the sugar-white sands is part of your plan, we suggest you consider exploring West Beach. It is a beautiful six mile stretch of beach running from Gulf Shores Parkway to the end of Dolphin Drive. Although spring break is one of the busiest times on all beaches, this beach gets less crowded the farther west you go.
To get closer to the action of spring break excitement, check out the main public beach where Highway 59 ends into the Gulf. This seems to be the place to mix and mingle with college students from the nearby universities over volleyball, swimming and simply walking the beach.
The Best Family Memories
We think some of the very best family memories are those that are made on a beach vacation. There is something magical about leaving the regular routine on hold and sinking your toes in the sand for an extended period of time. The sand and surf have unique restorative powers – as does the coastal whole coastal region of wetland, rivers and bays. Plan to enjoy this great coastal area this Spring Break – there’s no place like it.
We welcome you as a guest! Should you ever consider making this area a more permeant part of your “Plan to Play”, we would also welcome the chance to show you around and find the perfect places for you and your family.
